D-Blogs

Be united through blogging!

Diabetics are very social media savvy people.  There are plenty of diabetic personal blogs on the internet sharing their experience with diabetes.  We have the largest group of any other condition/ailment on the web!  I also encourage more people to blog about their experience.  It is important to know you are not alone and there is always support.  Blogging is a great way to make friends too.  Wordpress and Blogger are free sites to start your own blog.  There are lots of videos on Youtube.com on how to setup a site and to use the features of the blog.

Video Blogs and Channels on YouTube.com

One of the best diabetic channels on YouTube.com is called Diabetes Made Easier. They have numerous videos about different facets of diabetes.  They are all professionally recorded.  You wont have to struggle with the sound or picture quality.  They even have videos dedicated to questions that you may be uncomfortable to ask you doctor.  If you are curious about diabetes or newly diagnosed I highly recommend these videos since they follow a pattern.  The Diabetes Division of the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, TX made these videos and I applaud them for their efforts.
