Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, better known as Duda, has been heavily involved in the media industry throughout his working life and brings with him the history of his family within the industry since the foundation of RBS in 1957. Taking over control of the RBS Group will be a major challenge for Duda Melzer as he seeks to put his own stamp of leadership on the important role of CEO.
Duda Melzer may well be steeped in the history of The RBS Group, but he also spent time living and working in the U.S. as the leader of a non traditional media company; working in a burgeoning industry allowed Duda Melzer to embrace new technology as part of his leadership style. Melzer has also spent a large amount of his working life exploring many different areas of the RBS Group to make sure his understanding of the business as he becomes CEO is as thorough as possible.
