Besides being a diabetic advocate, I am a scientist that suddenly became a Type 2 diabetic in 2007. This website is a labor of love for me and a way to bring awareness to people. Upon my diagnosis, I noticed the online information about diabetes was super clinical and didn’t really address how to LIVE with diabetes. This website is a “one stop shop” of advice on diabetes and to inform the public of the different conditions associated with diabetes and otherwise. Please use the information as a learning tool. People who have to care for a diabetic should be knowledgeable about this information. Do not use this information in place of visiting an Endocrinologist if you having health concerns.
I created this website for other Type 2 diabetics who have experienced the extreme change in their lifestyle. From my studies, I have compiled health and diabetic information to make it easier for people to understand. The majority of the information on this site comes from various health and medical sources from the web, periodicals and Youtube. I do not make any claims of ownership of this information. The copyrights belong to their respective owners.
I do not give out medical advice and would tell you to see a medical professional. However, I will be happy to help anybody to find resources. Ultimately, any medical decision or treatment should be between yourself and a medical professional.
