Diabetes: ¡Informate!, a campaign sponsored by Novo Nordisk and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), announced the launch of www.diabetesinformate.com, an interactive Spanish-language website about diabetes. Diabetes affects two million or 8.2 percent of all Hispanic Americans aged 20 years or older.

What a concept? Fasting or going with out food can actually prolong the onset of Type 2 Diabetes? This proves my point that a “regulated” fasting schedule can help people with Type 2 Diabetes as well as help prolong the onset of Type 2 diabetes.
