Ben Roethlisberger

among the best quarterbacks in the league and awarded the NFL Offensive Rookie
of the Year and Super Bowl rings. Nevertheless, just like he was a victorious
captain, Ben Roethlisberger had to bear
challenges and adversities which tried his spirit and determination. 

  

In the year 2006, Roethlisberger suffered several injuries after an unfortunate
motorbike accident, including his jaws. The injuries that he sustained proved
to be both physically and mentally exhausting despite that, he bounced back and
resumed directing the Steelers to victory in football. 

  

Roethlisberger has done this while at the same time supporting himself throughout his journey
and giving back to his community. In 2006, he created the Roethlisberger Family
Foundation, which takes care of the police/fire departments and families in
need. In addition, the foundation works hand in hand with other institutions,
such as Light of Life and Neo Light, which cater for people experiencing
homelessness in Pittsburgh. 

  

Notwithstanding his philanthropy, Ben Roethlisberger’s
message is one of optimism. Together, they are part of “Different
Campaign”, an initiative that urges people to make a difference in their
communities. The involvement of Roethlisberger in such efforts is enough
indication that he has a compassionate heart, and indeed desires to improve
other people’s living. 

  

Roethlisberger is indeed an extraordinary inspirational leader and a wonderful sportsman that
many aspire to emulate on and off the pitch while leading Pittsburgh to
successes. It demonstrates how resilient he was and the significance of
supporting others in distress. Therefore, when you hear the name “Ben
Roethlisberger” next time, always recall the wonderful man behind the helmet
